As a fourth generation preacher, Dr. Richard J. Stevenson, Jr., is a diligent bible student, an effective communicator, an inspirational orator, an anointed leader, an illustrated teacher and a stalwart soldier in defense of the gospel.
A native son of Washington, D.C., He has studied Business Administration, Business Economics and Global Marketing. In addition to his secular studies, he has received a Master of Divinity with concentrations in Church Management and Church Economics, from Howard University School of Divinity; and a Doctorate of Divinity from Destiny Bible College of Roseville, MI. He was licensed and ordained to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the Bridging the Gap International Fellowship of Churches located in Mobile, AL under the awesome and anointed visionary leadership of Apostle Charles W. Maddox.
Dr. Stevenson functions as our very capable and anointed Executive Pastor. But when we speak of what it is to be a servant, He is that and more! As our Executive Pastor and as a servant of the Kingdom he is an anointed preacher, dynamic armor bearer, wise counselor, faithful shepherd, videographer, usher, janitor...He truely is all things to all people in New Harvest. He is an awesome example of what it means to serve in the Spirit of excellence!
Dr. Richard J. Stevenson, Jr. is the Husband of one wife, the former Ms. Marlene M. Davis of Alexandria, VA, and together they have three beautiful children.
